Bernie Logan, DMD
Dr. Logan is a native Pennsylvanian. He grew up in Connellsville, studied in Pittsburgh, and has practiced dentistry in both Ambridge and Cranberry. At the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Logan received his bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Logan spent 25 years practicing dentistry in Ambridge. In 2003, Dr. Logan moved his practice and team to Cranberry Township and continues to provide Ambridge and Cranberry residents with exceptional dental care.
Dr. Logan has always enjoyed working in a small-town setting, because it allows him to give his patients the personal attention they deserve. His relationship-driven philosophy makes his practice like a second home to many of our patients, which in turn, brings great joy and a true sense of job satisfaction to Dr. Logan and his staff. As a member of the American Dental Association, Dr. Logan combines his patient-focused techniques with modern advances in dental research and technology to deliver comprehensive dental care.
Because Dr. Logan is passionate about dentistry and delivering quality care, he takes many hours of continued education each year. He has studied at the prestigious Pankey Institute for advanced studies in general dentistry and the MISCH International Implant Institute. In addition, Dr. Logan is a certified Invisalign provider.
In his spare time, Dr. Logan enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and his two children, Sarah and James. Dr. Logan has two grandsons, Tyler and Logan, and two Golden Retrievers, Lexi and Bob. When he’s not studying modern techniques in dentistry, Dr. Logan enjoys relaxing on the golf course and soaking up the beautiful Pennsylvania scenery.
Laura Logan, Dental Promoter
Laura brings 20 years of experience to our practice. She graduated from The University of Pittsburgh School of Hygiene in 1988 and has been working with Dr. Logan since 1992. She loves the unique relationships formed between the doctor and our patients, and our close-knit community of team members. Her sense of job satisfaction comes from knowing that our practice truly helps people, whether it’s providing a safe environment in which patients can overcome their dental fears or giving people the gorgeous, healthy smiles they deserve.
When she’s not working, Laura enjoys caring for her and Dr. Logan’s two golden retrievers, Lexi and Bob. She has a passion for learning and anything that stimulates the mind. Her hobbies include hiking, walking, photography, Soduku, reading, theater, music, and sports (Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers).

Lisa Mattis, Registered Dental Hygienist
Lisa was born and raised just outside Toronto in Barrie Ontario, Canada where her parents still reside. Lisa graduated from College in Ontario, majoring in Biology, and then she worked part time as a Certified Dental Assistant. She wanted to advance her career in dentistry by becoming a dental hygienist, so she moved far from home to Corpus Christi, Texas and attended the Coastal Bend College for dental hygiene. Lisa graduated from hygiene school in 1996 with high honors. She worked as a hygienist in Texas for 10 years, and then moved to Cranberry Township with her husband for new job opportunities.
